Since I began practicing as a naturopath in 2009, it’s been a constantly evolving journey of how I work with clients. This latest turn of the evolutionary wheel takes us into both big and small picture healing at the same time; it’s about you still, of course, but you in the context of the world. We are not separate from the rest of the world; we are not separate from the issues across the planet.

In these new sessions, called the Burn Sessions, we’re addressing where global patterns and frameworks, embedded deep within you, are jamming your fullest expression up. How a session is structured is tailored to each individual, based on my intuitive read of you, your aura, and, well, where your inner burn is coming from at this time. Where are you energetically displaced? What is in need of re-connection? Where have you been extracting your precious resources, without proper reciprocity?

Sounds tricky, but it’s actually really simple. It’s time for a return to natural, unified, cyclic, sustainable living. Global fuckery is alive and well in each of us, and we need to transmute these wounds into the fire of our souls calling. In general, the art of healing is about restoring freedom, balance, harmony and right energy flow, and, now, it’s about doing so whilst contributing to those same principles on a global scale.

There is no healing or proper self alignment without considering societal injustice and inequity. How could there be? This consideration, and the ensuring change it elicits, is the revolution we need; the revolution that is currently underway. This latest turn of my healers evolution wheel now works to bring on your inner revolution, because it's within, first.

Reach out if the burn inside is calling for change.

I stand with these communities:

Inclusive image of the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, LGBTQIA+, Trans, Non-Binary and Palestinian flags.

I, Aliesha Bannister, acknowledge that I live and work on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation — sacred Country that holds my healing space and continues to offer vision, grounding, and inspiration. I honour the Wurundjeri people as the Traditional Custodians of this land, and pay deep respect to their Elders — past and present — as well as all knowledge holders.

For over 65,000 years, Aboriginal peoples have cared for these lands, waterways, and skies through deep, reciprocal relationship. This connection was never ceded. I stand with First Nations peoples in their ongoing fight for justice, recognition, and sovereignty. I am guided and inspired by the wisdom, culture, and spirit that continues to flow through Country, and I long for a future where this knowledge is not only respected, but re-centered in the collective life of this place.

Always was, always will be — Aboriginal land.
