originally written for a friend after a big (and somewhat complicated) loss. i felt something impactful was going to happen in her life, not knowing what it was of course, but that pre-feel let me tap even deeper into the undercurrent of the energetics when her life changed, and these words came out.
i battled when and how to share this one, as some of the stages of grief this āgiftā feel isnāt wanted, needed or appropriate. but for this exhibition, the call was clear.
as a healer, i always see the possibility of the path ahead, no matter how dark the current situation is. thatās the place these words come from.
i hope this poem means something to someone, and prayer hands to all those brave humans who live life with a broken but wildly open heart. š©µ

this poem was written amidst the angst of a broken world, a harmful world, our world; born via that ache in my core for seeing how things actually are, whilst knowing how they could be.

What makes you enjoy my page? Are you here to keep up to date on what Iām offering in the healing sphere; or you just like who I am; or for social justice conversations; or, is it the words (poems, insights, wee sparks of light) that draw you in?

From what began as a very clear and distinct business of being a Naturopath, the last few years itās totally been all over the place with any messaging/sharing what my ābusinessā is all about.
But what Iāve learnt, on the deepest of levels, is that that IS life. Itās how we get to roll; in fact, itās partly how we must roll.
In the future we need, success isnāt solely about clear cut, linear messaging, itās about being anchored into oneās energetic truth, reading the needs of the community, being guided by the undulating energies of nature, knowing oneās zone of genius, and sharing from there.
When we slow down (the first step), we get to live in more mess. We get to have the space and time to read the beautiful nuances of someoneās energy and offerings, and feel into if they are who we need support or teachings from in that moment.
Thatās what Iāve been doing the last few years - sharing from my gut and messy, messy heart. Has my ābusinessā suffered as a result, FOR SURE! Will this eventually course correct, yeah, I think it will.
The solid base I get to speak from now, as a direct result of following the natural energies in and around me, is going to take us to magickal places moving forward.

If what these people are saying doesnāt match your understanding or perspective of the world, itās time to open your mind, get curious and educate yourself. They are this planets guiding light.
If youāre simply not interested in educating yourself and understanding from a different perspective, there are labels for who you are. Not only are you not going to like the labels, but history hasnāt, and will continue to not, look very kindly upon your stance.
Growing up as āwestern worldā folk - we have been hoodwinked about the ways of the world. Itās pretty ugly under the whitewashed bonnet.
