The lie of this 'perfect' way of life, and a rally cry to combat it.

There’s a certain, specific type of trauma caused by trying to fit into the narrative or mould society tells us we should want. The shunning of Self it requires is deeply painful for both Soul and its human.
What (most of us) were told we should aim for in life — the job, the family, how we look, how we speak, what we dream of — all had a pretty narrow window of what ‘success’ in those areas looked like.
It doesn’t hold much depth for a lot of the things that give meaning to human life on Earth, and that very aspect is one of the roots that needs to be tapped back into by each of us.
We’re afraid of pain.
We’re afraid of death.
We’re afraid of different.
We’re afraid to let people see parts of ourselves.
We’re afraid of a lot of things, and — we’re afraid a lot of the time.
How many of your life choices and/or daily thoughts are about what to do in order to avoid things you’re afraid of doing, being, or becoming?
To avoid being shunned from certain groups?
To avoid looking a certain way?
To avoid feeling alone?
To avoid being truly seen for who you are?
To avoid pain? Mess? Discomfort?
The avoidance-first approach isn’t thriving, and I’d say we all know that, but we feel so corralled into it's perspective that it’s difficult to find another way.
But this is a rally cry to fucking find it.
Find your hope, your passion, your unique vision. Let the golden carrot of the life you really want to live inspire, motivate and guide you into action.
Fuck what ‘they’ think.
Fuck what you ‘should’ be doing.
Fuck. It. All.
When more of us tap into and reconnect to the pure wishes and drive within, the ones that come from the parts of your heart and mind that live outside the greed and power driven systems we live in, the world gets better.
We are naturally life, love, and nature-oriented beings. We are naturally attuned to live in harmony with the planet and all its living energies. These are the threads to pull on.
This perfect life we try to create — it’s a lie. You need to do you — in your full, sensitive, messy, colouring outside the lines, rebel-oriented ways.
Bring your magick into the now and let us experience how you see the world, so we can continue to move the needle of change forward.
Together.
