the work

This practice, this work, what we’re doing here, doesn't fit neatly into a single category — and, despite me trying desperately for many years to have it do just that — it was never meant to.

For almost two decades, I've been working at the intersection of inner life, energetic alignment, and ones authentic outer expression. What began as clinical Naturopathic practice has grown and shape-shifted into something that moves between the personal and the political, the embodied and the esoteric, the spoken word and the way we connect beyond words.

The portals I offer might be varied and different, but the threads that run through them are the same. Truth. Fire. Connection. And the intention, always, is to better the experience of this human life, for all.

who this work is for...

Aliesha Bannister looking away from the camera, her face/chin resting on her hand.

In short: leaders and change makers.

You, and me.

Those existing in the energetic state of leadership are not above others, nor more evolved, enlightened, or “together.” We are simply willing to let our inner work inform our outer actions; our vision is matched by energetic integrity; and we act on what we believe — imperfectly, humbly, and with accountability. True leaders are willing to be uncomfortable, willing to be wrong, and willing to repair when harm is caused. They understand that real change requires nervous system capacity, rest, and sustainability — not burnout, martyrdom, or constant urgency.

We are the leaders and change-makers, and it’s got nothing to do with titles, platforms, or visibility. You may never have called yourself a leader, but yet, my love, your desire to consistently move through the world with integrity MAKES you a leader. The way you rebel and think beyond the systems you were handed, and feel the friction of knowing things could be done differently — leader.

The ways you work to create more inclusion, dignity, and care within your communities, families, workplaces, or fields is leadership. If, like me, you have turned inward and begun the honest work of examining your conditioning, biases, privileges, and the ways you’ve been shaped by harmful systems, and, you understand this is ongoing, not something you ever “finish”… well, you get the picture.

Leaders, like us, know what we value, and we’re willing to speak those values, even when our voice shakes and we pee ourselves a little. Because to us it’s non-negotiable. We stand up for, stand alongside, and/or amplify those whose voices have been marginalised or dismissed, not out of saviourism, but out of solidarity and a shared humanity.

We understand responsibility within relationship, and with all our hearts know leadership is not about being followed, but about being willing to go first. Strong, and humble. Rooted, and still learning.

If you recognise yourself in these words — even quietly, or in a desire to be so — you are in the right place. And I’m right here with you every step of the way, supporting your purpose and fanning the fire.

intuitive guidance

One-to-one work guided by intuition, depth, and a refusal to bypass. For those ready to let the inner burn move them into full soul fire expression.

the book trilogy

Almost here. Three volumes containing my body of work for the last 8 years. Trace the arc from inner healing, deep re-connection, through to the liberation of social justice awareness.

writer of truths

Words, poems and art that have the thread of soul fire aliveness woven through them. Some deeply curated, some more raw and wild.

workshops & events

Facilitated spaces for women and gender-diverse people to create, write, and express. Grounded in feminist principles and the belief that creativity is a political act.

I stand with these communities:

Inclusive image of the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, LGBTQIA+, Trans, Non-Binary and Palestinian flags.

I deeply value inclusion & accessibility, and am committed to showing up for those values in practical and emotional ways, in both a personal and professional capacity.

I, Aliesha Bannister, acknowledge that I live and work on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation — sacred Country that continues to offer healing, vision, grounding, and inspiration. I honour the Wurundjeri people as the Traditional Custodians of this land, and pay deep respect to their Elders — past and present — as well as all knowledge holders.

For over 65,000 years, Aboriginal peoples have cared for these lands, waterways, and skies through deep, reciprocal relationship. This connection was never ceded. I stand with First Nations peoples in their ongoing fight for justice, recognition, and sovereignty. I am guided and inspired by the wisdom, culture, and spirit that continues to flow through Country, and I long for a future where this knowledge is not only respected, but re-centered in the collective life of this place.

Always was, always will be — Aboriginal land.
